La Victoria in good spirits
"It's like I feel I'm getting away with it", says a little uncomfortable Lincoyán Parada, who insists that there are five musketeers and that merit is to be shared. He's partly right since the over 120 images exposed at the Bellas Artes are work of a team he put together along with Arthur Conning, Samuel Shats, Teodoro Schmidt and Oliver Hartley. The five photographers, every Saturday between October 2007 and October 2011, went very early to La Victoria to portray the familiar, nice side of one of the toughest and most politically laden shanty town in Santiago.
